Yep, this is time for Goodbye.
I'll pretend that my blog had a lot of readers and that it is a pity that I'm going to retire here. But I'm not going to lie: I will miss writing in here, spreading my word to the world, and making terrible rhymes such as that one.
So, this is it! I hope this web page helped any of you imaginary friends of mine in anything: since tour guides to film reviews. (Pf, who am I tricking, how could a film review be useful?!)
But no more prolongation in here. That's our final goodbye. And, who knows, maybe I can come back here and write one or two posts in the future, for my imaginary world. But don't get your hopes up, I ain't promising anything.
That's it, fellow nobody! I wish you all the best in life, and remember: be happy, don't worry!

1822 - Book Review
Do you know Laurentino Gomes? Well, he is the author of a book called 1808, which talks about the coming of the royal Portuguese family to Brazil. This book made a lot of success, not only in Brazil, but in the whole world.
The same author who has written 1808 wrote a new book, called 1822, which just came out for sale and became a best-seller. It is a great book, full of curiosities and that stuff, but... okay, I'm gonna be sincere here.
You are not going to read this book if you: don't like history, don't like complicated words, don't like to go after the dictionary every time, don't have interests in old, dead people or if you're not curious at all. And I'm being serious here, this book takes very high standarts.
But it is, overall, a very good book! Try it, bu if you don't like it, try not to burn it, OK?

The Freedom Writers - Movie Review
Hey people, well, I had to watch a movie for school last week. At first, I looked at the movie with some kind of prejudice, mainly because I was a little tired at the class, but, you know what? This movie is really great, it is one of the best I've ever seen, and I mean it.
It is called 'The Freedom Writers' (as said on the title of the post) and it' story is about a school, which was a great public school in the past, but it's quality has been going down recently. It's new students are in touch with violence daily, they have to take three buses to get to school, and the majority of these students just go to school to not get kicked out of their houses.
There is this woman, Mrs Gruwell (or Mrs G, as called by her students) that is a teacher who hasn't given any classes before and starts at this school. Her new students do not like her at first, but then bonds are born whith each other and they become really good friens.
I know, I know, it seems like the old story of the teacher who fixes the whole school, but don't judge a book by it's cover!
The film has 123 minutes long, it is American, and it's a 2007 movie, and Hilary Swank stares at it. It is highly recommendable. Hope you enjoy it!

Super Size Me - Movie Review
Hey everybody, today I'm here to talk abou a documentary I've just seen: Super Size Me.
It is, actually, a good documentary. It shows us many health issues liven not just by the USA, but by all the world. These health issues are caused by the world's bad alimentation, which, mainly, comes from the habit of eating fast food, a habit that has been taking control of everywhere. And this guy, Gordon, happens to make an 'experience', he decides to eat every one of his meals at McDonald's - one of the biggest fast food industries of the planet - in the duration of one month and show the consequences trough this movie.
He enterviews people, shows some deseases and the the power of the media, and also shows some gross situations he's been trough at this experience, which makes the movie very appealing, but not enough, I guess. Can I be true? The film actually made me hungry. I was starving for a McDonald's meal after I saw it! They showed the food of McDonald's in a... too cute way, you know?
But one of the reasons of the quality of this documentary was that they actually showed numbers, proved their sayings, enterviewed normal people, they found a way to make you know that they were saying the truth, and that's what really counts.
It is a rather good documentary, but as nothing's perfect, this couldn't be either, right?

The Luckiest Man of the World !
Hey, does anybody in this blog know somebody who can be called ''The Luckiest Man Ever''? We, from TopicsHouse, do.
His name is Luke Clover, he's 54 and he's from the great London. He is known as being a very humble person in his neighborhood, but the whole English capital knows his story.
<--Luke in his 30's
Everything started when Luke was about five, and he was calmly taking a stroll is his quarter (on Londodn) with his father, when, suddenly, he found and odd piece of paper in the boulevard's floor. Luke took it and gave it to his dad. Luke's father noticed that the odd piece of paper was, in fact, a lottery ticket with some numbers circled on it. So his dad decided to compete with that ticket, and that was the first time Luke won the jackpot of a lottery.
Our lucky man has passed trough every kind of risky situation that you can imagine: he has been a castway in an island during seven months along with three more people, he has been in a plane's crash (being the only person who survived at the accident at all), he has almost got drowned, and he even got lost on a mountain's hiking during the period of five days, all by himself. But Luke always managed to survive of the dangerous situations he got in.
When he turned 30, Luke has passed at one of the most important year of his entire life. He met his wife, Georgia, who has won Miss Universe at her 20's, and he won his second lottery's jackpot. He also found a gold mine when he was hiking through some mountains.
Can you imagine living a life like that?

Belo Horizonte's Tips and Tricks
Hello Readers !
Today we're going to give you the best tips for surviving a weekend in Belo Horizonte!
If you're going to our city by plane, you'll probably arrive at Confins's airport, wich is half an hour travel to the capital. You can take a taxi, our city's taximen are very kind.
One of the best neightborhoods of Belo Horizonte is Savassi. It is sorrounded by every kind of shops, but you have to know how to pick the good ones, because most of them are too expensive. And there are also the shopping centers, that are usually acessible to everyone. There are Pátio Savassi, Diamond Mall, BH Shopping and Minas Shopping (the more popular) and Shopping Cidade and Del Rey Shopping (usually more cheap) .
You should also visit our museaums, too. They are very interesting places, and also full of culture. There is the São Francisco de Assis Church, located on Pampulha, wich is a place that really symbolizes our city.
Belo Horizonte is full of every kind of good, different, quality restaurants all around it. A good thing about it is that we have many restaurants with many kinds of food; you can eat whatever you want! Japenese food, Italian food, American food ... But if you want to try real Minas Gerais's food, we have excellent self-service restaurants : Pocão, Fogo de Chão, Dona Conceição, Baby Beef. Those restaurants can be a little expensives, but their food worths the price (and they are also in costant promotions) .
Now about where to stay. If you want best-quality (however expensive) hotels, you might want to stay at Ouro Minas (Avenida Cristiano Machado, 4001 - Ipiranga - Belo Horizonte - MG. - 3429-4000) or Mercure's hotel (Rua Guajajaras 885 - 32984100). But if you want more accessibility, there are also other great hotels such as Boulevard's .
If you have any doubts or questoins, leave a comment !
